About Us
Faces is a clinical skincare clinic located in beautiful downtown Newburyport MA. Our estheticians use non-invasive technologies, treatments and products to help our clients achieve their anti-aging beauty goals.
Laura graduated from the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics in 2003 and has been a licensed, practicing clinical esthetician in Newburyport for the last 21 years. Prior to opening Faces, Laura worked at Shanti Salon as a licensed esthetician in their skincare department for 8 years. Laura also holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston College and practiced as an outpatient psychotherapist for 10 years. Laura brings her passion for helping others along with her clinical listening and interviewing skills to her clinical esthetics practice. In her spare time Laura enjoys spending time in beautiful Newburyport with her family and friends.

Sarah graduated from The Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics in 2013 and went on to become a junior instructor after her graduation. Sarah’s love of education has landed her jobs as an educational liaison/sales rep at Love Beauty Pro, Plasma MD and currently for Pro Cell Therapies, an advanced microneedling device company. In these roles Sarah has gained extensive clinical skincare knowledge and she has been able to share this knowledge with other estheticians as an educator. She has also had extensive hands on experience working at Shanti Salon and Polished in Newburyport and also as the owner of her own full service spa in Lexington, MA. In her spare time Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews. Sarah is currently accepting new clients for all services.

Charmaine is our beloved studio manager. She previously spent 15 years working in supply chain logistics at Timberland and Bauer hockey before deciding to work as a stay at home mother and raise her three beautiful children. Charmaine brings her previous business experience coupled with her home management skills to help keep Faces running smoothly. She is responsible for taking pristine care of our studio space and is the person happy to help you with all of your scheduling needs. As a native of Newburyport, Charmaine loves spending time with her family, going for long walks and connecting with friends. We are so fortunate to have her as an essential part of the Faces team!

Dr. Sasmor is the acting Medical Director for Faces Clinical Skincare. Our relationship with Dr. Sasmor allows for clinical collaboration and oversight of our treatments that are more clinical in nature. In addition to helping us uphold the highest clinical standards of care our connection with Dr. Sasmor also allows us to have a local doctor to refer to for skin conditions/concerns that are out of our scope of practice. Furthermore, having a medical director enables Faces to carry the best medical grade skincare available. We are thrilled to have this relationship with such a reputable Newburyport based plastic surgeon.
